They very often confide their secrets and share their problems. The shop provides variety of hair-care and body-care services comprising of hair cutting, styling, color, manicure, pedicure, body message, spa and also gives tips on mind and body relaxation. The shop is aesthetically designed and is equipped with latest gadgets and recreational accessories like television, music system with headphones for waiting customers, books and magazines. It has separate cubicles for men and women. It has a workforce comprises of twelve people coming from diverse socio-cultural background and ethnicity.

It has 1 receptionist, 5 hair cutting specialist cum stylist, 2 masseurs, 1 counselor and 2 hair color specialist and 1 Yoga instructor to teach mind and body relaxation. The shop has customers coming from varied socio-cultural background which comprises mostly young working class executives for whom, the shop represents a place to relax while they are personally groomed. The diversity in client and workforce is common. Ethnic group are common in the organization. For successful facilitation it is important that the leadership initiative of the owner ensures cross cultural understanding that promotes mutual respect and inculcates shared learning.

Various social scientists have emphasized the importance of understanding the cross cultural values, within an organization for improved work performance (Geerzt, 1973; Pacanowsky, 1983). For continues success of the shop it is also important that the group is encouraged to share experiences and learn new techniques and methodologies to improve individual and team performance. Open communication is used to solve differences and establish strong interpersonal relationship. The major strength of the group is that they have effective communication and have strong inter-personal relationship that goes beyond the realms of race, culture and color.

The main weakness is that they are not very motivated towards hi-tech
