These are all questions that only a handful of people in Montag’s world asked. These concerns can be connected into our everyday lives. Simply take a look at the education system. They inform one that they are not allowed to state certain things which believing specific thoughts is an incorrect thing to do. Clarisse says that all their school does is ‘teach you the realities’. Is this not what the education system is doing now?
They are attempting to fill one’s mind loaded with non-applicable information so that we can spit it back out for a standardized test for the county’s observation. All some instructors wish to see are great test outcomes, all the board wishes to see are increasing test numbers from these standardized tests. Why does whatever need to be standardized? Evaluating, screening, and testing. Yes we can spit back details, however can we apply it? How is knowing whatever worldwide anywhere close to going out and living it?
