Death of a Salesperson V.S. the Crucible

The Death Of A Salesperson v. s. The Crucible In The Death Of A Salesperson, the primary character, Willy Loman, is an unsuccessful salesperson caught up in high expect his kids, Biff and Hap, who both likewise soon become failures. Willy’s defect is that he has actually filled his boys up with so much hot air that he is not satisfied when they do not be successful, and regrets to believe where they stand in life now, as average guys. Willy’s reversal of fortune comes right after Biff’s last year of high school.

It appears as if all of Willy’s household and other problems establish then, and the factor being he has actually denied his kids fate. Willy salary is cut, and after that loses his task. Willy then realizes his flaw. He experiences flashbacks, imaginary ghosts of people in his life or those that have passed, and goes so far regarding comptemplate suicide, and even attempt by slowly riding his automobile off the road. This part of the story is where the audience begins to feel sympathy for Willy. The audience feels for him losing his job and resorting to suicide to meet his dreams for his son.

Willy does not should have suicide, he should have to have a much better occupation, like woodworking or a task involving work with his hands. However he accepts his fate, and even after making amends with his child Biff, he follows through with his death. In my perspective, I think Willy was a terrible hero. He had his defect, and got death for it, even if it was caused by himself. Also, Willy’s death was both tragic and respectable due to him compromising himself to crave his dream and to much better his kids.

Willy compares to John Proctor in many methods. Initially, and most obvious, both guys are found to be cheating on their partners. Second, both men are striving with hopes of a much better life for their family, until each is stuck to the rebound of their defects. Both men do not provide into their weakness, Willy’s being his children failure, and Johns being his death to oppose allegation of practicing witchcraft, therefore concluding that both guys and related and tagged as awful heroes.
