Dear Dawson,

I write about employees’ conditions in this organization and its associated branches across the country. It has come to my attention that in the last three months there has been a drastic decline in performance that has emanated from work overload been brought about by low levels of morale. Furthermore, there has been an increase in employees’ absenteeism in the past two months from 13% to 48.9% an indication that the employees are no longer motivated at work.

In light of this, I would like to recommend that your department takes haste in conducting interviews from each production department across all branches in the country. Through these interviews, it will be easier to establish the current levels, causes, and extent of stress.

Moreover, the employees should be taken through training programs such as stress-management workshops that have been confirmed to be very successful in California.

Apart from the workshops and training programs, the employees will require higher insurance claims for employees’ physical ailments, continuous counseling, and wellness campaign where physical activity to relieve stress such as breathing exercises are considered. Finally, the organization will require motivation through written clear policies on transfers and promotion, high cost of compensation for stress-related illness. At the same time, the employees will require a salary increment to allow the savings for employees to add up to $6150 per year.

I am confident that once these issues have been looked at then the overall performance in the organization will surpass its previous levels. I am looking forward to your positive response.
